UCF Business Administration Exchange Mentee/Mentor Program
Victoria recently joined the UCF Business Administration Exchange Mentee/Mentor Program.
Victoria met Katherine, who currently works at Disney as a Magic Kingdom Greeter. She wanted to expand her professional portfolio for an Internship in Finance! Within 5 minutes, Victoria encouraged her to apply for a Finance Internship at Disney! And that is exactly, what Katherine did. After 2 interviews, Katherine is now enjoying the Summer Internship at Disney!
One conversation with a student could change their life!
Not only did Victoria help Katherine get an internship at Disney, but she also assisted Katherine to get her VISA renewed. We worked with an Immigration Attorney, Shaz Asgar, with Asghar Law, who is a lifetime friend, and he helped us expedite and navigate the process.
We believe the Disney acceptance letter as a Summer Intern helped her tremendously with the status of her work VISA being renewed. It was very close, and she almost didn’t make the cut off. We were very fortunate and are grateful for Shaz’s efforts with us!
In addition, Katherine received the First UCF Annual Scholarship from The Mitigation Banking Group, Inc. in the amount of $1,000.00. This scholarship was inspired by Katherine. MBG will continue to provide an annual scholarship to a UCF Business Administration Student each year to provide financial assistance to a person that has drive and is full of potential.
Katherine was the first intern for MBG from January 2022-May 2022, and Katherine’s internship with Disney has just started in Summer 2022, she will continue to help MBG on limited tasks as she embarks on her future career with Disney!
