Colbert Cameron Mitigation Bank
The Colbert-Cameron Mitigation Bank is a 2,600-acre mitigation bank located in Volusia County, Florida. The wetland mitigation bank was permitted in 1996 by both the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and can be utilized for wetland mitigation for impacts within the service area of the St. Johns River Basin (Basin 18), Econlockhatchee Nested Basin (Basin 19), Lake Jesup Basin (Basin 23), & within the Northern Third of The Southern St. John’s River Basin (Basin 20) within the SJRWMD.
Mitigation Bank credits are available to offset unavoidable wetland impacts that are located within the St. Johns River with UMAM credits (State) and M-WRAP credits (Federal).
On May 8, 2026, Colbert Cameron Mitigation Bank converted the assessment method for the state mitigation credits from RATIO Credits to UMAM Credits.
The mitigation bank has reached full success criteria for the hydrological enhancement to restore the natural hydrology and therefore, has all the wetland mitigation credits to be released for this wetland mitigation bank.
