Find Credits in Your Project's Service Area
Conservation bank credits are used to offset impacts to endangered and threatened species habitat under the Endangered Species Act. Like wetland mitigation credits, conservation credits must be purchased from a bank operating within the same service area as the proposed impact, and are approved and overseen by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
MBG represents conservation banks in Florida covering two of the state’s most commonly encountered listed species in active development corridors. Credits are available for projects requiring authorization for Sand Skink and Florida Scrub Jay impacts within the Lake Wales Ridge service area.
