UCF Graduate and a Florida Native, Victoria Bruce has devoted years to environmental causes in Florida. She has been in the wetland mitigation and habitat conservation industry since 2004. She began her work at 21 years old as an intern and now has over twenty years of experience in wetland mitigation & species conservation banking; specializing in connecting buyers and sellers in the mitigation banking industry. Her work focuses on facilitating environmentally sound transactions, including the sale of significant mitigation banks, to align development with conservation goals.

As a City Commissioner for Winter Springs since 2022, Victoria integrates strategic planning expertise to enhance community infrastructure, promote sustainable urban growth, and prioritize environmental preservation. Her commitment to balancing development and conservation remains central to both her public service and professional endeavors!

Victoria K. Bruce is the CEO of The Mitigation Banking Group, Inc.  She has been in the sales and marketing experience since 2004 serving Florida’s wetland mitigation banking and species conservation banking credit industry. Victoria’s vast background in the wetland mitigation and habitat conservation banks industry has designated her as one of Florida’s most sought-after mitigation bank sales brokers.  Victoria is passionate about partnering with mitigation bankers, environmental consultants, and landowners to aid in the mitigation process. Victoria is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and forecasts that support existing relationships with industry partners and promote future growth for the industry.

What started as an internship has grown into my life’s work, helping landowners, developers, and environmental professionals navigate the complex world of mitigation banking.
