Lake Swamp Mitigation Bank
Lake Swamp Mitigation Bank provides state and federal forested credits within the Halifax River Basin (Basin 17), which is within the St. Johns River Water Management District.
Mitigation Bank credits are available to offset unavoidable wetland impacts that are located within the Halifax River with UMAM credits (State) and UMAM credits (Federal).
The Lake Swamp Mitigation Bank is a 1,890-acre mitigation bank that is located in Flagler County, Florida.
The bank was permitted by both the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and can be utilized as mitigation for impacts within the service area.
Restoration activities include hydrological enhancement to restore the natural hydrology.
